Why is it that certain people always seem to have their shit together?
You know what I’m talking about. They are never late, they show up everywhere looking great and are always picking up the tab.
You would think these people are:
*Drowning in debt
*So stressed they have to medicate back to normal
They aren’t! These people achieve everything, have amazing freelancer secrets, do it all ahead of schedule, and accomplish it all without stress or anxiety.

When achievers like this came into my life I wondered how they managed it. Right? What did they have I didn’t? I couldn’t grasp how one person could work their ass off ten hours a day, every day, and come home with nothing while the guy across the street could pull replace their income working two hours a day. It didn’t make sense.
Eventually I figured it out and, to be honest, the answer shocked me. It was to simple. And that’s the problem with thinking and business. We carry our beliefs about how things should be into the business world. Our world view doesn’t translate into the business or freelancer view. I believed replacing your income would be hard. I was wrong.
It was my fault I didn’t recognize what was going on. I believed success was complicated. That was why I wasn’t successful yet, right? But that’s the trick. Success is simple. What it takes to be successful is boring, consistent things. (Learn Consistency Secrets To Succeed. Here) It wasn’t until I saw, again and again, this principle at work that I realized this was the key.

Golden Numbers For Success
What are the golden numbers of success? They are simple consistent acts designed to deliver massive results. Think about the golden numbers of success as a MED (minimum effective doses) needed to be met every day to ensure lasting success. Want to replace your income using golden numbers? Read on.
I’ve uncovered a lot of these numbers from experience, studying, and researching the online market. This article is going to share how many proposals it takes me to replace part of my existing income.
The Proposal Golden Number
It took me a year to target the optimal number of proposals that need to be sent, per day, for you to replace your income.
For me the optimal number of proposals I need to send, per week, to replace my existing income is five proposals a day, 6 days a week. Five proposals a day has shown to secure me enough work to make between $2K and $4K a month.
Writing five proposals a day takes about an hour (12 minutes per proposal). You don’t have to write all five proposals at once. Most the time this won’t be possible.
Sending five proposals a day for six days a week means I spend six hours a week, twenty four hours a month, looking for work.
How long does it take before this produces returns? On average I’ve found it takes two weeks of consistently submitting proposals to enter a reliable booking cycle.
I’ve also found that increasing the number of proposals sent out a day doesn’t speed up the process.

How I Found The Number
This is the important part of the post. It pulls back the curtain on how I built a path to results, created a method to achieve it and my approach to breaking down the goals into the smallest possible parts. You want to start achieving goals you thought impossible? Study this method.

I didn’t happen across my number by accident. I set out with the purpose of replacing a part of my income with freelancing.
My goal in 2016 was to replace a minimum of $24K a year with freelancing last year-which I did.
I got started by breaking down the numbers. I wanted to know the minimum I needed to make, per day, to reach my goal. Earning $24K on the side meant I needed to make:
*$2K a month
*$500 a week
*$83.33 a day (6 days a week)
That meant I needed to work .87 hours per day, six days a week to achieve my goal.
Quick Note:My success wasn’t tied to meeting minimums. I succeeded because I had an idea about the minimum I needed to succeed. Focusing on the small wins, $83, would have derailed my progress.
Training for the smallest hurdle means that your best equals achieving the smallest wins. Here is another way to think about it. I used to be fat. I was two hundred pounds overweight. When I chose to get healthy I didn’t adopt strategies to lose five pounds. I needed to lose two hundred pounds. Adopting strategies to lose two hundred pounds meant that if I fell short and lost a hundred and fifty pounds I was still doing well.
